The annual rankings are released by QS Quacquarelli Symonds Ltd, which publishes one of the most widely followed university rankings in the world.
Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2023
Nitte (Deemed to be University) is ranked in the band of 301-400 in the 2023 edition of Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. It is placed in the Top 200 in the categories of Quality Education and Gender Equality. It is placed in the Top 300 in the categories of Clean Water & Sanitation and Good Health & Well Being.
This ranking assesses Universities for their social impact based on the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by all member states of the United Nations Organization (UNO) in 2015. These goals provide a framework to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings uses this unique framework for recognizing the efforts of Universities towards achieving these goals. The rankings assess the efforts of Universities towards sustainable development through teaching, research, outreach and partnerships in 17 different domains. International recognition for Nitte University’s green initiatives
Nitte (Deemed to be University) has been ranked 244th in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings in 2023. These international rankings recognize the contributions of universities across the world to policies and actions related to green campus and environmental sustainability. The survey evaluates 39 indicators related to environmentally friendly infrastructure, energy, climate change, waste management, water, transportation and education. Nitte Institutions promote sustainable practices on campus and encourage students to be sensitive to environmental issues.
