Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project entitled “Development of regional breast cancer patient cohort stratification platform and novel therapeutic strategies by leveraging NSMCE2 E3 SUMO enzyme deficiency and chemotherapeutic drug sensitivity: Insights from Indian clinical samples and cellular model studies,” funded by Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PM-ECRG) from Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ARNF), Government of India. The project will be carried out at the Department of Molecular Genetics and Cancer, NUCSER, NitteDU, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India. The candidate will be encouraged to register for PhD at the University.

Minimum Qualification:

M.Sc in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or equivalent in allied areas with a minimum of 55% marks in the preceding qualifications. Candidates with UGC-CSIR/ NET/ /GATE/DBT-BET qualifications will be preferred.

Prior experience in cell and molecular biology techniques, cell culture, western blotting, histopathology and handling clinical samples will be preferred
