Welcome to the 28^th Emergency Abdominal Surgery Course (EASC). The first was held in Letterkenny Donegal, Ireland in May 2012 and the most recent in Nijmegen Netherlands and Krakow Poland. Over the years, the EASC has evolved into a world leading course in Emergency Abdominal Surgery. The course is endorsed by many societies and it is constantly updated with the latest advances in Emergency Surgery Care. This 28^th course builds on its success and is further enhanced by faculty who are leaders in Emergency Surgery. The EASC is being conducted for the first time in India.

EASC curriculum focuses on the acute abdomen, in a multidisciplinary shared learning approach. It will bring you a level of discussion you have not heard before and enhance your ability on-duty as a surgeon, Gastroenterologist or Radiologist, either as a trainee or a specialist. This course is about decision making during common emergencies. Each session begins with video of the clinical scenario, leading on to investigations (including endoscopy & radiology video), continues on to the Operating Room (with video demonstration of the procedure) and concludes in the post-operative area. On the first day 31st January 2020 is the Basic Course, and on the second day 1st February 2020 is the Advanced Course.
