The vision is to produce oral health care providers with a holistic approach to health care and surgical management of patients with oral diseases. We will strive to achieve our goals by focusing attention on enhancing safety, quality and patient satisfaction. We aim to provide the highest level of training in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in a comprehensive manner and to develop a curriculum with a strong academic and research background. We also aim to collaborate with, and establish, a good relationship between oral and maxillofacial surgery and medicine, thus making it an independent and equal profession and not an allied health entity. We shall do this by trying to incorporate a major part of our specialty into hospital settings viz. operating rooms, wards and casualty. Thus, we aim and shall strive to be a leading centre for research, training and provision of quality services in the sphere of maxillofacial surgery.

We endeavour to develop and maintain sound Ethical and Professional Behaviour. We promote the values of truth, integrity, honest, tolerance and accountability. We strive to treat every patient requiring surgery with respect, equity, dignity and compassion.
